Our wedding day at Carlton Towers was everything and more. Over the last year, we have worked with Dannii, who delivered on our requests to ensure our day was special with our family.

We did not want the typical large wedding but instead we held an intimate gathering with our family, which was just perfect from the very beginning.

Our coordinator for the wedding day, Joe, was just amazing. He truly went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Joe provided clear communication and calmness which would ease anyone on their special day.

A special mention must be made in relation to our evenings entertainment of murder mystery. We requested some pillows and a white sheet to create a 'body' for the evenings events however, the team were just exceptional and had fun in their creativity. It was definitely a key highlight that everyone enjoyed.

Thank you to everyone who was involved in making our day perfect for both ourselves and our families. We cannot wait to come back to enjoy the many events held there but also, to reminisce on what a truly wonderful place Carlton Towers is.

We got married on 2nd May and stayed from 1st–3rd May, and from start to finish everything was absolutely perfect. The staff couldn’t do enough for us — every single member of the team went above and beyond to make our stay and wedding so special.

Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. The venue was beautiful, the atmosphere was amazing, and everything ran so smoothly which meant we could truly relax and enjoy every moment.

We are a couple living in the United States and recently had our destination wedding in the UK. We chose Carlton Towers as our reception venue, initially because of its close proximity to Selby Abbey, where we held our ceremony. Since we were unable to travel to the UK to visit the venue in person before the wedding, we relied heavily on their website’s 360 virtual tour — and thankfully, the sales team was incredibly kind, responsive, and accommodating. They even arranged a Zoom tour for us, which made us feel much more confident in our decision.

Throughout the entire planning process, the team at Carlton Towers was exceptional. They scheduled regular meetings and provided detailed checklists, which made the experience far less stressful for us as a newly engaged couple planning a wedding from abroad. Communication was always prompt, professional, and informative, and they consistently provided all the information we needed.

When we finally arrived at Carlton Towers, we were absolutely amazed. The property was even more spectacular in person than we had imagined. Every corner was stunning, elegant, and full of character. Our wedding day itself went so smoothly thanks to the support and coordination from the deputy manager and the entire team. Our guests could not stop complimenting the venue throughout the celebration. We only stayed for two nights, and honestly, we wish we could have stayed longer to fully enjoy such an incredible property and experience.

My Gothic Castle ~ Carlton Towers were amazing, the communication and regular meetings, made the wedding planning stress free.

On the day they took care of everything for us, and made it perfect.

Carlton Towers was a magical place to get married. The history and sense of grandeur throughout the house and grounds are truly unmatched.

Our guests loved being able to wander through the vineyards, explore the property, and find quiet, intimate spots to sit and chat.

It felt especially special that we and many of our guests were able to stay on site, which made the whole weekend feel relaxed and connected.

The wedding breakfast the next morning was delicious and a perfect way to bring the celebration to a close.

We had our wedding at Carlton Towers and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. The venue itself is breathtaking, but what really made the day so special were the staff and the incredible food. The food was absolutely outstanding; so many of our guests commented on both the quality and presentation. Each course was cooked to perfection and served seamlessly, adding to the sense of occasion.

The Honeymoon suite (The Baroness) was beautiful!! The bed was the comfiest bed we’ve ever slept in! The breakfast the next morning was delicious! We never wanted the day to end!

Our wedding at Carlton Towers was truly unforgettable. We came all the way from the US and didn’t see the venue in person until just a few days before, but everything came together perfectly. The planning process was so easy, and the team made us feel completely at ease every step of the way.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning, and we loved how many unique spaces there were to enjoy. Having the tearoom and all of our guests staying on site made the weekend feel so special and relaxed. It was such a joy to have everyone together in one place.

And, on top of it all, the venue hosts so many beautiful spaces for a ceremony that any issues with weather that arose were easily fixed. Our ceremony was scheduled for the front lawn but due to inclement weather, we were able to move the ceremony into the vineyard to avoid all the harsh winds the day had in store for us.

Carlton Towers gave us the most magical setting to celebrate with our family and friends, and we’ll always be grateful for the memories we made there.
