CARLTON TOWERS APPOINTS NEW ESTATE DIRECTOR
Brian van Oosten, new Estate Director of Carlton Towers
Carlton Towers, one of Yorkshire’s leading weddings and events venues, has appointed Brain van Oosten to the newly created role of Estate Director.
Previously Deputy General Manager of AA Hotel of the Year, Grantley Hall, Brian will be responsible for the day running of the 250-acre estate and Gothic revival stately home owned by Lord and Lady Fitzalan Howard.
Prior to working at Grantly Hall, Brian was managing director of Wynyard Hall, and has also held roles with Surya Hotels and the Devonshire Arms in Bolton Abbey.
“We are delighted to have Brian on board, his wealth of experience will be extremely valuable as we continue to develop our offering at Carlton Towers into 2024 and beyond,” said Lord Gerald Fitzalan Howard.
In addition to a walled garden vineyard and tearoom, Carlton Towers is a very popular wedding venue. Throughout the year the estate hosts regular events in the extensive grounds plus courses including, cooking, stitching and beekeeping, together with corporate launches.
“This newly created role is so exciting with various projects planned to enhance the offering, landscape and guest experience for all,” said Brian van Oosten.
