A collection of beautifully designed, well-equipped kitchens for eating, drinking and learning. Located in the original servants’ quarters, Cooks is where food is celebrated.
From chocolate tastings and foraging, to bread and baking, expand your culinary knowledge, sharpen your skills and get tips from our chefs. At our workshops, you can learn about food provenance and delve into the art of growing, rearing, smoking or curing.

COOKS Workshops
Learn to grow, prepare, cook, photograph or write about food. Come to bake, butcher, forage, preserve, or to hone your technical skills. Explore kitchen wisdom from the past or daring foods of the future at our specially designed workshops.
COOKS FORAGING
Our Head Gardener, Martin, is an expert forager. At opportune times of the year, he leads guests in an exploration of the hedgerows, fields and woodland around the estate. The rewards are brought back to the kitchens where our chefs turn them into amazing flavours, either for private dinners or cooking tutorials.
SPECIALITY EVENINGS
From guest chefs to delectable cheese and wine evenings. There is something new to learn and taste with every visit.
