Your wedding or event at Carlton Towers includes the private use of the 16 guest rooms in the house for 31 visitors. The Batchelors Wing, the original Nursery Wing and the imposing Clock Tower, add a sense of grandeur to your guests’ visit. Each carefully curated room is rich in architectural features and artwork, whilst the palatial décor embodies the surrounding history and nature.
Stay a little longer in of our estate holiday cottages. Each cottage is a five-minute walk through our private park from the main house. In total, our cottages can sleep another 24 guests – families or couples.

For a limited number of nights throughout the year, we reserve the house to welcome guests to stay.
Escape to a gentler age and a more relaxed pace of life. Take time to bask in the noble surroundings. Wander freely around our private 250-acre estate and relish fine dining experiences created by our chefs. Or, simply pick your fireside spot and let the history envelop you.
guest bedROOMS
Most of our 16 guest bedrooms are named after notable family ancestors, many of whom hold prominent places in British history. Other rooms tell interesting stories from the past, such as Old School Room and Priest’s Hiding Hole. Each has been designed and furnished individually under Emma Fitzalan Howard’s accomplished eye.

COSY COTTAGE rOOMS
A short stroll along a tree-lined path from the main house, you’ll find our charming Cottage Rooms.
Each superb cottage has parking right outside and individual south-facing terraces. WiFi and housekeeping services are included, making our Cottage Rooms ideal for families or couples.
HOLIDAY LETS
Our village cottages are self-catering and can be booked for longer holidays in Yorkshire. Each cottage is crammed with character, comfort and good taste, to provide a relaxing short break for couples or families, or for groups when hired together.
