A BLOOMING NEW PARTNERSHIP
Carlton Towers has announced a blooming new partnership with renowned florist and stylist Anna Boyes of The Blonde and the Blooms to create floral designs for weddings and events at the Yorkshire stately home.
Anna and her team based in Yorkshire, have been appointed in-house florists and stylists for Carlton Towers, home of Lord and Lady Fitzalan Howard, a popular wedding venue.
Regularly commissioned for high end weddings and event styling nationally and internationally, The Blonde and the Blooms have also seen their work exhibited on Netflix and BBC among other editorial outlets for major brands.
The agreement will enable Carlton Towers to offer Anna’s expertise to couples planning their nuptials at the Gothic revival style stately home. There are also plans for a Flower School at the venue in the future.
To launch the new partnership Anna and her team will be demonstrating their artistic displays in a showcase event at Carlton Towers next month on April 15/16. Hosted by Lady Fitzalan Howard the VIP event will be attended by brides and recognised industry professionals.
“We are delighted to have The Blonde and the Blooms on board. Their designs will bring glamour, style and a sense of artistry to our elegant state rooms and in the summer months, to our pretty Walled Garden Vineyard,” said Lady Fitzalan Howard.
Anna, who classifies her designs as art, works on three principles – design, detail, and sustainability.
“The goal is to demonstrate how floral and event design can go beyond the stereotypical. We have a great opportunity here to create new trends and really put the North on the map in terms of design and desirability. Carlton Towers is the most perfect setting for this, and I fell in love with the house and its people. I feel this is a perfect fit in terms of our core values” she said.
Carlton Towers’ sumptuous state rooms and Walled Garden Vineyard have become a popular choice with wedding couples. Reached via a long sweeping drive, Carlton Towers is nestled in the countryside, close by to the small village of Carlton, North Yorkshire and overlooks 250 acres of private parkland and woodland. It is widely recognised as one of Yorkshire’s finest country homes.
